BBC Children in Need Small Grant

Children and young people aged 18 years and under experiencing disadvantage through:

  1. Illness, distress, abuse or neglect.
  2. Any kind of disability.
  3. Behavioural or psychological difficulties.
  4. Living in poverty or situations of deprivation.

The work they fund make differences in children’s lives that help prevent or overcome the effects of the disadvantages they face. Funded organisations achieve these differences by either working directly with children or seeking to improve their social and physical environments.

Summer update: BBC Children in Need are continuing our commitment to fund organisational costs for groups working with children and young people and delivering positive impact. We are encouraging applications for organisational cost funding to support the day-to-day running costs of delivering your work. We know that this flexibility can be a real help and we are driven to support the sector with these types of grants after the effects of COVID-19.

Decisions to award successful grants will be made in February 2022.
