 Warrington Voluntary Action Time Line

Join us to celebrate 20 years of WVA (originally established as Volunteer Bureau)

Celebrations will include the opportunity to join us to develop the Warrington Voluntary Action Time Line. This year we have seen 40 years of Warrington Women’s Aid, 100 years of the Salvation Army and nationally 70 years of the NHS. We want to highlight dates of significance for Warrington’s charities, community, voluntary and faith groups as well as Trusts and CICs, to build an illustrated time line that shows the diversity of Warrington’s groups, old and new. The completed time line will be on public display to highlight how as a sector we have continually adapted to meet local needs and address national policies for the benefit of our residents.

Attendees will contribute to the time line, so as well as sharing your organisations significant milestones, if you have any interesting artefacts or paraphernalia related to the voluntary sector please bring something along.
