This course is designed for anyone (staff or volunteer) that supports people either directly or as a manager.

 

Designed to provide awareness of a range of issues based on current culture, social trends and research you will learn about how specific communities require support, the terminology attached and the considerations attached to working with people.  Based on the Equalities Act of 2010, the course covers all aspects of our community.

The course covers:

- Social judgement and stereotypes

- The 9 Protected Characteristics

- Supporting communities

- Monitoring and managing a range of people

This course is free members of WVA. If you're not already a member, click here to sign up for free.
