I want to be a Good Neighbour Volunteer
Who can volunteer?
Anybody can be a Good Neighbour volunteer as long as you have empathy and a desire, commitment and willingness to help people in the community who need it.
How much time do I need to give?
As much or as little as you can. It might be you’re only free on certain evenings or certain days of the week - We can offer you opportunities based upon your availability and preferences and it’s entirely up to you if you take them.
Do I get support?
Yes. As a Good Neighbour volunteer, you will have access to telephone and email support through WVA, as well as training opportunities and a Volunteer Handbook. You’ll also be part of a large network of people who are really making a difference to the day-to-day lives of people in Warrington who need that extra bit of help.
