Warrington Voluntary Action. Engaging People. Empowering Communities.

Warrington Partnership

The Warrington Partnership brings together different organisations from the public, private and third/voluntary sectors. In this way the partnership aims to ensure that different initiatives and services work together more efficiently and effectively, deliver better value and benefits, and improve the quality of life for local people.

The Health and Wellbeing Board was formed in 2011 and is a legal requirement for every local authority area. Amongst other things, it has a legal obligation to bring key partners together to assess the health and wellbeing needs of local people, to create a shared wellbeing plan and to promote integration across health and social care.

Members of the Warrington Partnership and Warrington Health and Wellbeing Board work closely together to promote integration, and to deliver the priorities set out in the Warrington Strategy for Wellbeing.  They are currently producing a revised version of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy and have been consulting with partners accross the town.  An executive summary has been produced and feedback will feed into the revised strategy.

For more information about the Warrington Partnership and Health & Wellbeing Board, a new website has been developed under the brand Warrington Together.
