Park Volunteer for Friends of Alexandra Park (FOAP)

Role Type: Casual
Based: Appleton & Stockton Heath
Categories: Environment / Outdoor, Hospitality

What would I be doing?

We are in need of volunteers to support the community café in the pavilion in Alexandra Park on Saturday's from 2-4pm.
There are a few different roles of volunteering, from servicing drinks and cakes, collecting plates and washing up or working out the cost of the cakes and drinks. Volunteers also help to set up the café before opening and help put everything away. Any good bakers out there, can use your skills to bake cakes at home for the café to sell.

What skills do I need?

Essential skills of being able to get on with people and enjoy talking to members of the public. Volunteers with good baking skills are useful to produce a cake as we require a steady supply of scrumptious cakes to sell each week!
You will get a sense of helping in the community, and enjoy making new friends with a drink and a piece of cake!

It is also a great way of achieving your volunteering hours as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

About Friends of Alexandra Park (FOAP)
