Virtual Support Volunteer for LifeTime

What would I be doing?

Lifetime are looking for volunteers to support its members from Home!
This will be done working from Home, delivering a range of virtual sessions to members, taking calls, resolving any questions or queries and offering advice and support to access our online timetable. Provide support to tutors and staff delivering sessions via Zoom.

Role Tasks will include:
· Supporting delivery of virtual sessions
· Providing support to members as and when required.
· Supporting new members downloading applications and accessing online sessions.
· Scheduling and hosting zoom meetings
· Some out of office hours maybe required

What skills do I need?

· Knowledge of online applications
· Effective communication skills
· The ability to confidently use a computer.
· Good team working skills
· Access to reliable WiFi and equipment

About LifeTime

LifeTime offers support for other voluntary groups providing services to older people to get support and connect who use the centre for resources, meetings and discussion. Through our work we engage with partners and where they offer complementary services they use the centre for drop-in, information sessions and provision of their information to members.

Volunteers are key to the success of LifeTime. Our volunteers are supported with training, supervision and resources and their voice is heard through the volunteer forum and regular meetings.

Recruitment and training details:

Recruitment will consist of completing an Application Form, References and an Online induction.
Lifetime will provide you with:
· Induction and ongoing opportunities for training and personal development.
· Ongoing support within a friendly team of staff and volunteers.
· Regular virtual volunteer meetings.
· All out of pocket expenses reimburse.
