What would I be doing?

Volunteer for the Foodbank
Exciting volunteering roles available at the New Foodbank centre in the Golden square Warrington, they are looking for a new team of volunteers.
Are you a confident communicator and an active listener?
Can you spare 4 hours per week?
If so, then they would like to hear from you
The new volunteers will be the friendly face of Warrington Foodbank. They will welcome shoppers with a smile, and chat openly about the important work they do to support local people in crisis. They will also provide confidential advice and signposting, to people who may need to use us, as well as receiving donations from the generous people of Warrington.

What skills do I need?

organised, motivated, confident communicator and an active listener.

About Warrington Foodbank

There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.

Recruitment and training details:

New volunteers will work together in teams of 3, Tuesdays to Saturdays between 10am to 2pm. And we hope that this new venture will commence on Thursday 15th October 2020. Full training on Foodbank policies and procedures will be provided.
