What would I be doing?

Good neighbours are looking for Garden Gate Buddies.
The role will support someone who is socially isolated and/or lonely to help them feel more connected in their community.

If you enjoy supporting people and making a difference in people's lives, offering support and companionship whilst respecting a person’s independence and dignity then this role is for you.

What skills do I need?

You don't need any particular experience, but we would like our Garden Gate Buddies to be friendly and welcoming, with good communication skills. You must be observant and sensitive to the needs of others when chatting with your buddy.
