What would I be doing?

If you are keen on riding a bike then this role might suit you!

Warrington Borough Council has an exciting opportunity to become volunteer Cycle Ride leaders.
Consisting of leading bike rides in your local area.
Essentailly the right volunteers need to be friendly, approachable and patient. You’ll be leading rides with a range of people but mostly they will be new to cycling or haven’t cycled for a long time, therefore it’s important you are empathetic with this group of people.

Tasks include:- Riding your bike with likeminded people, safety checking the route, doing a risk assessment (WBC will help with this), checking the weather, ensuring a register is taken, Engage with Social media posts (Not essential, as we can help with this)

Ideally, you would need to be available to lead rides most weeks or at least once a fortnight.

Recruitment and training details:

Full, free Ride Leader training is available to the right person.
