Does this opportunity include close supervision / mentoring?: Yes
Does this opportunity require independent working?: Yes

What would I be doing?

A Music Group Facilitator is a volunteer who can teach or overlook the music group so that they can get the best out of the instruments that they play and feel good in themselves.

What are the benefits of volunteering as a Music Group Facilitator?
Music is in everything around us. Music can be found everywhere in our world. It helps people find themselves and helps them through hard times that we all face in our lives. Music gives us a way to express ourselves and show how we feel inside ourselves that we don't usually let people see.

What skills do I need?

It is desirable for a music group facilitator to be conversant with music and some instruments so that they can teach our members a new skill or improve the skills that they have. Ideally, if you have experience in working with people with mental health conditions would be excellent, but not essential.
