What would I be doing?

Room at the Inn and Quaker Friends Meeting House have been working together for over a year to improve their lovely gardens. The garden is all part of the Friends Meeting House historic building which date back to 1830.

There are lots of things to do in the garden, including weeding, planting, composting and making tea.

This is a great opportunity to work in a community project, and to improve your gardening skills.

What skills do I need?

Volunteers should be happy to be hands on and get involved in a variety of tasks. You don't need a prior knowledge of gardening to get involved with this project.

About Room At The Inn & The Y Project

The Quaker Friends Meeting House dates back to 1830 and is the meeting place for the local Quakers in Warrington. Room at the Inn and the Y Project are a local charity who support the homeless and vulnerable in our community.

Recruitment and training details:

The role involves volunteering for 2 hours every Wednesday at any time between 10am-2pm.

There will be an induction held for each volunteer before they start.
