About RSPCA Warrington, Halton and St Helens

We are a cruelty case-boarding centre and so, we have a special role caring for dogs and cats removed by the Inspectorate from situations of cruelty, abuse and neglect. We care for and rehabilitate them whilst decisions are made about pursuing a prosecution, and if this happens, whilst the legal processes go through court.
This means we care for some very damaged animals, both emotionally and physically, and have the added challenge of meeting their welfare needs in a kennel and cattery environment for prolonged periods of time.
We pride ourselves on giving every animal the opportunity to receive proper care and nutrition and experience human kindness in the time they spend with us.

Recruitment and training details:

Full training is offered to new volunteers. Once we receive your enquiry we will contact you to discuss this voluntary opportunity further.
