What would I be doing?

We are looking for an individual or individuals who can provide regular, impartial support to people who work and shop in the town.
The aim is to provide two hours of chaplaincy per week to suit availability. The chaplain will be providing support to traders, shoppers and management without prejudice.

What skills do I need?

The ideal candidate will be able to listen impartially and act as a signpost where necessary to other services. We ask that our volunteers are Christian and able to provide a ministerial reference.

About Mission in the Economy

MitE is an ecumenical Christian organisation providing a chaplaincy service to people of all faiths, beliefs and values. We do not proselytise, evangelise or convert although our Chaplains are all Christian.
We are looking for those who are willing to come alongside people in their place of work, offering a non-judgemental, impartial listening ear and to be a regular presence.
