What would I be doing?

Do you like talking to people? Do you enjoy shopping? Do you love Warrington's heritage?
A great opportunity has come up for a volunteer chaplain at Warrington Market.
We are looking for an individual or individuals who can provide a regular impartial support to people who work and shop in the market.
The aim is to provide four hours of chaplaincy per week to suit availability.

What skills do I need?

The ideal candidate will be able to listen impartially and act as a signpost where necessary to other services. The chaplain will be providing chaplaincy support to traders, shoppers and management without prejudice.

About Mission in the Economy

MitE is an ecumenical Christian organisation providing a chaplaincy service to people of all faiths, beliefs and values. We do not proselytise, evangelise or convert.
We are looking for people to come alongside people in their place of work, offering a non-judgemental, impartial listening ear and to be present.
