What would I be doing?

Hollins Green Community Shop is always on the lookout for more volunteers to join our friendly team of staff and volunteers aged 14 to 84.
The shop is open from 7am to 7pm Mondays to Saturdays and 8am to 1pm Sundays and Bank Holidays, so if you have an hour or two to spare anytime, we would like to hear from you.
We need people to help on the till, which is a great way to meet people, and also to help filling shelves, serving tea and coffees, keeping the shop clean and tidy etc.

What skills do I need?

No essentials skills needed, just a friendly welcoming attitude and a willingness to help.

About Hollins Green Community Shop

Hollins Green Community Shop, is the centre of the village making sure everyone has access to daily essentials, also providing a place for customers to relax or talk with a book and a warm drink.
The community shop has recently appeared in the local paper celebrating its 4 years of trading. Could you help this little shop continue to go from strength to strength!

Recruitment and training details:

No experience needed, full training and support will be given, and you will always have a member of staff with you to help. Volunteering can be used towards Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme, or to gain experience of retail and customer service, or just as a way to meet people and have a good time.
