Build up a rapport and provide support/encouragement for an individual with doing activities they wish to do such as walking, going for a coffee or helping them with their shopping.
Or just spend a few hours making a difference, by spending time with someone who is feeling isolated and lonely.

What skills do I need?

No qualifications are needed but some experience with supporting people with a mental health condition is useful. You will have the chance to shadow staff to build up confidence and experience.
