What would I be doing?

Volunteering for LifeTime, will consist of helping with the delivery of information and support to individual older people living in Warrington.

Your role will be to take calls from the general public, responding to enquires received by letter or email and providing help to people who come to our centre for information and support. You will also be responsible for signposting to people onto relevant local services when needed.

What skills do I need?

· Holistic approach to members needs
· Effective communication skills
· The ability to confidently use a computer.
· Good team working ability
· The ability to research, interpret and convey relevant
information to members.

About LifeTime

LifeTime offers support for other voluntary groups providing services to older people to get support and connect who use the centre for resources, meetings and discussion.
Through our work we engage with partners and where they offer complementary services they use the centre for drop-in, information sessions and provision of their information to members.

Volunteers are key to the success of LifeTime. Our volunteers are supported with training, supervision and resources and their voice is heard through the volunteer forum and regular meetings.

Recruitment and training details:

Induction and ongoing opportunities for training and personal development. Ongoing support within a friendly team of office-based staff and volunteers. Regular volunteer meetings.
