What would I be doing?

St Rocco's are opening again and looking new volunteers to help out in the Mersey Street Store in Warrington town centre.

Some of the tasks you may be asked to carry out include, receiving and sorting donated goods, prepare (including cleaning) and displaying donated goods, serving customers and dealing with queries, operating the till, assisting with arranging the window displays.

What skills do I need?

A Volunteer Shop Worker should:
• be honest and reliable, and can easily talk to customers
• enjoying volunteering as part of a team
• have a good level of mobility as heavy lifting is sometimes involved

About St Rocco's Hospice

We provide quality care and promote social, psychological and spiritual wellbeing for patients with life limiting illness, and in doing so place patients, carers and families at the heart of everything that we do.

Recruitment and training details:

All new volunteers will undergo a full induction in volunteering within a covid safe environment.
