REFLECT - Section Four

People and Planning

This section will help you think about:

  • supporting everyone involved
  • resources and planning
  • problem-solving
  • future audience goals
How does the group support the people that run your services?
Tick all that apply
Are you happy that your chosen method(s) is working?

Pick the ones you would typically try the majority of the time to improve the wellbeing of the people that are part of your organisation

Questions Volunteers / Staff Users Both

What are the tools or systems you use to attract and involve people in your activities?

What resources do you feel you need in order to be able to deliver what you do?
Questions No confidence Not sure It's OK for now Confident but could be better Very confident
Right now, if you were to set yourself a goal to prioritise and make your organisation more diverse, what would be the group you wanted to attract (select up to three)
This is thinking about your organisation as a whole and the people involved (members, committee / trustees, volunteers or staff).  We would like to turn your attention to accessibility and inclusion.  We know that it's not easy to attract or support a diverse range of people, but a few simple tweaks can make the difference between someone being able to attend or not or someone feeling like they can truly be themselves or not.

What does inclusion or being inclusive mean to your group/organisation?  What have you put in place to encourage inclusion?

Who is involved in the future planning of your services? (check all that apply)
There is no right or wrong here, we just want to encourage you to think of this so that you are making the most of the opportunities open to you.
If you don't include all or any of the groups (especially users and volunteers / staff) do you know why?
Do you feel you are equipped and ready to handle a future emergency?
Thinking about what your group will do in the event of another large-scale challenge where your help can be crucial
