REFLECT - Section One

This section will help you to think about:

  • your mission statement
  • your objectives and priorities
  • your structure
  • your policies

Your mission and goals

Here we are looking at why you exist and what you use to base your decisions on.

A clear mission statement will help you understand what you need to do to meet your objectives.  If you have a mission statement, please detail it below.

You are bound by your mission statement in your constitution (or articles of association) so it's also a good idea to regularly review your purpose to amend or update your obligations.  If you don't currently have a mission statement please don't worry, WVA can help you with this.

Do you feel that your mission statement is relevant and appropriate?

An objective is a specific attainable target to be achieved within a defined period of time.

How often do you review your mission statement and priorities?

Put your most pressing priorities at the top and the least at the bottom.

Use the arrows to drag and drop the lines into your preferred order.

Some of your answers may be based on decisions you made a long time ago and that's fine.  This question should then help you to really think about whether you're based in the right location.  Tick all the statements that best apply to you.
