REFLECT - Section Two

Connecting

This section will help you think about:

  • the methods of communication that you use
  • sharing your purpose and objectives
  • measuring impact
  • gathering feedback
  • working in partnerships
  • engagement
What methods of communication do you use to connect with and inform those associated with your group?
This includes current and potential users, partners, funders and the general public.  Tick all that apply.
Do you feel you use the right medium to communicate with users?
Can everyone in your group explain what you do?

If you think yes, tell us how you get everyone to do it. If no or not sure, why do you think that might be. This is optional.

This is a chance to reflect on your newsletters, social media, posters etc and what words and phrases you use.  Do you keep them 'on brand'?  Are there terms and ways of talking that you stick to so people know it's you?  There is no right or wrong answer here, but it's about having a strong communications strategy.

How do you collect evidence and measure the impact of what you do?
You can select all that apply

This is a chance to reflect on how you go about this.  Consider the questions you ask, the frequency of asking them and how you go about the analysis.  You can also think about the other ways you gather information through research and how you apply that to your impact measurement.

Do you currently work in partnership with other organisations?
Are you connected to any of the following local strategies, networks or partnerships?
Don't worry if you are not.  Tick all that apply.

Being part of networks isn't essential but can be useful.  We wanted to highlight it to show some of the ways to enrich your group's experience in the town.
