Savera UK - Direct Intervention Manager

  • Job Title: Direct Intervention Team Manager
  • Location: Liverpool (with travel as required). This role is based in our Liverpool office
  • Salary: £34,500 – £38,000 (depending on experience)
  • Hours: 37.5 per week | Full-time, subject to funding Reporting to: CEO
  • Direct Reports: Staff, volunteers, and student placements

Primary Purpose of the Role 

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Direct Intervention Team Manager to lead our frontline service. This is a pivotal leadership role, ensuring high-quality support for individuals at risk of HBA and harmful practices, while developing a strong, effective, and compassionate team.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Direct Intervention (DI) team, including staff, volunteers and student placements
  • Oversee all referrals, helpline calls, and caseload management
  • Ensure safeguarding, risk management and person-centred support at all times
  • Strengthen partnerships across agencies and professionals
  • Contribute to organisational growth, strategy, and fundraising
  • Report to the CEO and work closely with the Communications and wider team to amplify survivor voices and drive awareness. This is a diverse and challenging role where no two days are the same. Success in your first 6–12 months will mean ensuring a high-performing DI team, strong safeguarding processes, and effective partnerships that enhance our impact

An occupational requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010, the post holder must be female under the Sex Discrimination Act, 1975 Part 7 to meet the needs of the majority of our service users.
