Good Neighbours Volunteering

Alan is young at heart and lives in Orford with his lovely wife Val, Alan has a real love of snooker and used to play in a league, whilst he does not always remember the rules now he would love to meet someone who would play a snooker game with him as he has access to a snooker table locally.

Alan also enjoys walks in the local park where he often has a pit stop at the local coffee shop where he is well known, his wife Val is not able to accompany him due to her own health condition, so walking when weather permits is also something Alan would enjoy.

Alan lives well with dementia and looks after himself with the support of his wife and family

Alan lives in Grappenhall and was an active member of the community attending church with his wife on Sundays and keeping his garden looking nice all year round.  Due to his limited mobility he is unable to garden as he used too and misses his wife since she sadly passed away.

Alan enjoys his independence but can feel a little lonely at times, he would love to meet a new face for chats about his garden, he also loves photography and has many albums full of picture memories that he would like to share. 

Alan looks after himself and lives well with dementia, he is also a little hard of hearing but wears his hearing aid.

Marion is 84 years young and lives in the Padgate area of Warrington.  Marion has a granddaughter who looks after her personal care along with her daughter Sue who visits as often as possible.

Marion would love the company of a new friend, she enjoys watching TV, Emmerdale is her favourite soap, she watches Strictly Come Dancing and also likes to sit in her lovely garden weather permitting.

Colin lives in the Moore area of Warrington with his lovely wife Gwen.  Colin is a shy gentleman with hidden talents, he used to play Crown Green Bowling and would love to attend a local game to watch, enjoy and make friends, he also used to participate and win frequently at Stock Car Racing attending RAC rallies and was a regular participant in the race days at Belle Vue.

He has a love of animals and was a Farmer throughout his working life.  

Colin is looking for a likeminded volunteer who can visit for chats or even go to the local bowling green and throw a few bowls.

Colin  is living well with dementia, misses the company of others and would love to make new friends.
